Matthew Judge, LMSW

Matthew received his Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work in 2022 and has been working in the Human Service field in various roles since 2015.

​

He has a broad range of work experience that includes providing case management services to adults with developmental disabilities, an internship in community mental health, an internship with the Veterans Health Administration, working in clinical hospice social work, and most recently, as a therapist in behavioral health urgent care.  Matthew is also a Veteran with 9 years of active-duty service in the Marine Corps.


Matthew is trained in EMDR, which is a modality that can be used in the treatment of a variety of behavioral health challenges and is especially effective with traumatic experiences. Matthew’s approach to therapy is eclectic, and he works with his clients using mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), motivational interviewing, and EMDR to best address each client’s unique needs.


In his free time, Matthew enjoys learning to play the keyboard, reading, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
