"NOT YOUR MOTHER'S" SUPPORT GROUP

This group is for women who are mothers of infants and toddlers, a private group just for Mom!

 

Postpartum women are incredibly vulnerable. What society fails to recognize is that 1 in 7 new mothers prefer to suffer quietly, riddled in shame and isolation, afraid to dispel the myths about motherhood – “everything is perfect”, “I love being a mother”, and “this is the happiest time of my life”. She doesn’t share the dark thoughts, intense anxiety, scary intrusive thoughts, checking excessively on the baby, feelings of inadequacy, grief over her former independence, or how hard it is to constantly pivot the labyrinth.

 

"Not Your Mother's" group is a private group for 6-7 mothers who are seeking clinical guidance and support from fellow Mom's through the labyrinth that is motherhood. This is a safe space for Mom's to talk openly under the guidance of a postpartum counselor.

• Group is 60 minutes long every Thursday at 10 starting April 6th, 2023.

• The cost is $30 per group. A superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
