Leslie Rice, CSC-AD, CTP
Therapist
Niche: Addiction & Trauma
Leslie believes deeply in the resilience of the human spirit — that even our greatest struggles can guide us toward discovering our greatest strengths. She understands that addiction can feel overwhelming, but she walks alongside clients to help them uncover their own capacity for healing. Leslie provides a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can process their experiences, find peace, and step into empowerment.
Leslie received her BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland and an MA in Eastern Philosophy from St. John’s College. Taking an unorthodox path to becoming an addictions counselor and certified trauma professional, she brings a unique perspective rooted in mindfulness and its role in recovery. Her approach is primarily mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), which blends mindfulness practices with evidence-based tools for resilience.
As a yoga teacher for more than a decade, Leslie integrates the mind-body connection into her work, helping clients reconnect with themselves, build balance, and cultivate lasting well-being.
