Melanie is a client-centered therapist who strives to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel supported in their growth. She believes there is no “cookie cutter” approach to therapy and works collaboratively with each client to develop a plan that adapts as goals are met. Drawing from CBT, DBT skills, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, existential therapy, and solution-focused approaches, she helps clients build practical tools for resilience and change.

Melanie completed her graduate studies at Walden University and Monmouth University with a concentration in crisis and trauma. As a military spouse, her journey in the field has taken her through a variety of settings, including the Family Advocacy Program with the U.S. Army, a program for adolescents ages 13–18 involved in the court system, and an inpatient substance use disorder treatment center serving individuals with co-occurring conditions. She is also a certified trauma professional, bringing compassion and specialized skill to clients working through life’s most difficult challenges.
