Michelle is an LCPC, CAC-AD, NCC, and certified Level I Trauma Professional with more than a decade of experience in the addiction and mental health field. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently serves as the Director of Treatment Services for The Refuge at Lotus Psychotherapy.

Michelle has worked with adults of all ages navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life crises. She is passionate about walking with clients through their darkest times and into healing, using a humanistic and straightforward approach to build trust and guide growth. Known for her patience, compassion, and ability to meet clients where they are, Michelle believes the therapeutic journey is a marathon, not a sprint.

Her style is holistic and client-centered, drawing on CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and humanistic techniques. She sees each client as a whole person and empowers them to strengthen coping skills, increase self-regulation, and move toward their goals at a pace that feels right for them.

Outside of her work, Michelle enjoys photography, reading, exploring nature, and spending quality time with her husband and children.
