With a collaborative, person-centered, and solution-focused approach, Tamara tailors evidence-based interventions to meet each client where they are on their journey to healing.

With over 25 years of experience supporting children and families in diverse settings—including owning and running a licensed child care center for 15 years—Tamara brings a wealth of insight and compassion to her work. She has also worked in public schools, church ministries, the YMCA, and the medical field. Family is what inspired her to pursue a career in psychology, and she earned her B.S. in Psychology from UMUC and her M.S. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from Capella University.

Outside of her professional life, Tamara enjoys writing poetry, cooking and baking, gardening, bowling, traveling, exploring new cuisines, and artistic pursuits. She treasures time with her family and her pit/lab mix, Buddy.
