Continuing Care IOP Group

Continuing Care (CC) IOP Group

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, 40 to 60 percent of people in treatment for addiction will relapse. Setbacks are not just common. They’re often expected. Situations can arise in daily life that are triggers for substance use; a trigger is anything that makes you want to use drugs or alcohol again. Some triggers are external, while others are internal, such as feeling anxious or stressed.

Continuing Care or CC IOP Group was formed to continue building up on the lessons you have learned in IOP as well as provide a sense of support for your continued healing journey.

The sample curriculum includes topics such as distress tolerance, radical acceptance, psychology of motivation, conditioning, and family dynamics.
