About Lotus Psychotherapy

At Lotus Psychotherapy, we’re dedicated to nurturing your emotional and mental well-being in a space that feels like a sanctuary. Our holistic approach considers every facet of your life, helping you attain the clarity, balance, and inner peace you desire. Rooted in compassion and backed by expertise, we offer tailored treatments designed to heal both mind and spirit.
We use a person-centered approach to support our clients who feel tethered to their problems. We can help you challenge the obstacles that you face, freeing yourself from feeling "stuck in the mud,” so that you may move towards growth, recovery, and genuineness.
We can all sympathize with the stress, anxiety, and adversity we've endured over the past several years. Essentially, we can all relate to the story of the lotus flower, as it’s one of darkness, renewal, and rebirth. When the lotus flower eventually unfolds, there are no visible signs of the mud or darkness from which it came. This is our hope and mission as a group practice, to support clients through their difficulties with grace and resiliency.
Who we are
Values
Compassion Over Judgment - Meeting every client with empathy, not assumptions — honoring their story and their pace.
Accessibility with Integrity - Mental health care should be high-quality, holistic, and available to more than just the privileged few.
Wholeness, Not Fixing - We support healing by seeing clients as complete humans, not a list of symptoms or goals.
Progress, Not Perfection - Growth is nonlinear. We honor the work of showing up, no matter what it looks like.
Community-Rooted Care - We’re deeply connected to the people and place we serve. Relationships are at the core of everything we do.
Vision
Founder Allison Scarinzi’s long-term vision is to create a seamless continuum of care that feels like a true “one-stop shop” for mental wellness. Lotus provides a broad foundation of care for traditional and integrative clients alike, while The Refuge supports those with more acute mental health or substance use challenges. Together, they represent a full-spectrum model of progressive, community-rooted mental health care.
